Shipping Costs

Shipping fees displayed at checkout reflect our current rates based on your shipping address, items in your cart, and other order details. We strive to display accurate shipping costs, but in some cases actual shipping costs may differ from those displayed during checkout.

Promotions & Discounts

We may offer discounted, promotional, or free shipping from time to time. Specific terms for special shipping offers will be provided when advertised. Promotions are subject to change without notice. Shipping discounts apply only to domestic shipping fees, not additional costs associated with an international shipment.

Tax on Shipping Costs

Applicable sales tax will be applied to stated shipping fees during checkout where required by law based on destination.

2. Shipping Restrictions

We do not ship to all locations internationally. We only ship to addresses located in countries listed during checkout. We reserve the right to discontinue shipping to any location at any time and may restrict quantities available for shipment to certain locations.

There are certain products we do not ship internationally or ship only to select countries. Restricted items are clearly labeled during the shopping process. Purchases containing prohibited products will be canceled and refunded.

You are responsible for ensuring your shipment’s compliance with customs restrictions, laws and regulations for your destination country. We make reasonable efforts to label shipments with required customs information, but make no warranties the shipment contents or descriptions meet customs requirements. Please check with local authorities.

You must supply a valid shipping address, including all required information such as recipient name, street address, city, applicable postal or zip code, province, and country. We ship only to the address provided during checkout and may require a signature upon delivery.

3. Shipment Processing Timeframes

We process orders for shipment during regular business days and hours, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Processing time starts when payment is authorized and may take 1-2 business days to complete. Processing includes order processing, customization, inspection, packaging, and preparation for shipment.

Orders include an estimated shipment or delivery date displayed during checkout and on the order confirmation email. We make reasonable efforts to ship an order within the time provided, using the quickest delivery method available. However, quoted shipment and delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Actual transit time varies based on origin, destination, shipping method selected, time in transit, and other conditions. We are unable to guarantee orders will arrive by a specific date such as a birthday or holiday. Please order early with expected transit time in mind to avoid disappointment.

4. Order Tracking

You will receive an email confirming shipment containing tracking information. Tracking information allows you to follow your package and get estimated delivery date and time information directly from the carrier.

Packages may be consolidated or sent in separate shipments. Tracking information will be provided for each package. Please retain tracking numbers until you confirm receipt of all expected packages associated with an order.

Tracking information will only appear as available after the carrier has scanned the package at its origin facility. Shipments may be in transit before tracking systems are updated. Carriers only scan packages at certain points in transit, so may not reflect detailed tracking until the delivery scan.

5. Loss or Damage During Shipment

Tiffany takes every precaution to securely package shipments to ensure they remain undamaged in transit and arrivals in perfect condition. However, on occasion damage or loss may occur with carriers.

Carefully inspect your shipment before signing to accept delivery from the carrier. If the package appears damaged or tampered with:

If you accept a shipment and later discover damage or missing items, contact Tiffany immediately. Notify us within 3 business days of delivery to report damage or loss – late claims may be denied. Please have the order number, shipping tracking information, and photos available when contacting us.

We will work with you to determine appropriate next steps based on the carrier’s damage claim process and timing requirements. Options may include:

You agree to cooperate with any loss, damage, or theft claims we submit, including supplying photos, copies of original order details, and completing required paperwork. Claims with carriers can take 30-60 days for completion.

Tiffany is not liable for loss or damage occurring with carriers during shipping. Our liability ends once we provide the carrier with the shipment in good condition and obtain the carrier’s acceptance and delivery scan/receipt. Issues must be pursued directly with the carrier.

6. Undeliverable Shipments & Refusals

If a carrier cannot complete delivery due to an incorrect address, recipient unavailable, refusal to accept, restrictions on certain products, or other complications, the package will be returned to Tiffany. We will contact you to confirm whether you would like the order reshipped to an alternate address for an additional fee or canceled for a refund.

If a shipment is undeliverable, refused, or canceled after leaving our facilities, you are responsible for all original and return shipping fees. We are unable to refund original shipping costs on undeliverable shipments.

7. Customs & Duties for International Orders

Customs authorities in destination countries assess duties or taxes on imported products based on each country’s unique regulations. As the importer of record, you are responsible for paying applicable duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, brokerage fees, or other charges on any import shipments we fulfill to you internationally.

Such charges are based on the laws, tariffs, and tax structures imposed by your country’s government and are outside Tiffany’s control. Tiffany is not responsible for delays or failure to deliver caused by customs issues. Any additional fees must be paid to claim your shipment from customs in your destination country.

For an estimate of fees during checkout, Tiffany displays estimated duties and taxes based on the value of items in your cart. However, official duties/taxes are calculated by destination customs and carrier brokers based on laws in effect when a shipment arrives. This means actual fees may differ from the estimate.

Some key considerations regarding customs and duties include:

If you refuse to accept and pay any import fees upon delivery, your shipment will be abandoned, returned to Tiffany after a waiting period, and duties/taxes will still be owed. You remain liable for all costs incurred to ship, return, and redeliver or reship packages if feasible. If an international shipment is refused, we cannot resend items until duties are satisfied per customs regulations.

8. Returns & Exchanges

When we receive a returned item in resalable condition, we will issue a credit or refund for the purchase price paid less any original shipping fees.

If exchanging an item, we will place a new order and charge applicable shipping costs for the exchange item to be delivered to you. If received from a domestic address, exchanges ship for free. For international exchanges, we prepay duties and taxes if possible for the new delivery.

For international returns, you or the recipient is responsible for paying any duties, taxes, and fees assessed by customs in your destination country to reimport items. To avoid such fees on the original shipment, we recommend making exchanges locally at a Tiffany store when possible. If available, we can also issue store credit.

9. Privacy of Purchases

We respect your desire for discretion when shipping Tiffany purchases. We will omit pricing and order details from the exterior packaging for a discreet delivery. Gift items will not indicate pricing or contents. Your name and contact information as the purchaser will never be included.

For designated “gift” shipments, the gift message and recipient’s name may be visible upon opening the package. If you wish to remain anonymous even after opening, please place the order as shipping to yourself and personally hand deliver. Please also refrain from mentioning your personal name in gift messages.

10. Shipping Policy Updates

Tiffany may amend this Shipping Policy at any time. Please check this page periodically for updates. Updated shipping policies will apply to any purchases made following the update.
